PRIVACY / INFORMATION HANDLING

Privacy policy

This policy explains how 飯能設備有限会社 (the “Company”) handles information in connection with the QUANTUM TECH LAB website and custom software development enquiries.

Current website and contact status

This website currently provides browser-based demonstrations. It has no enquiry submission form, checkout, or user registration. Our contact mailbox is operational and has been tested for incoming email. Email links open your email application; the website does not send messages directly. We update this policy when our services or features change.

1. Who operates this website

Legal operator: 飯能設備有限会社
Representative: 師岡敏夫
Registered address: 埼玉県飯能市東町35-13
Address for readability: 35-13 Higashicho, Hanno, Saitama, Japan.

The registered Japanese names and address are authoritative. See our company information for the business scope and communication policy.

2. Information used by the demonstrations

Text, display names, settings, and sample project states entered into the demonstrations are generally processed in the open page’s memory. The current demonstration application does not send these inputs to a Company database. Reloading the page resets the demonstration state.

  • VOICE NEXUS PRO does not access your microphone. Recognition and translation text are prewritten samples. Dictionary replacement, text removal, and insertion into the demonstration’s editor are processed in the browser.
  • NodeTrans-Nexus displays the names and sizes of selected files. It does not read their contents or upload them to a server.
  • The HTML download operation creates a sample file for saving on your device. Downloaded files remain on your device until you remove them.
  • Copy controls may write the selected output to your device’s clipboard when you use them. Clipboard content may remain after you reload or leave the page.
  • DOMINION uses prewritten discussions and code proposals. It does not call an AI service, modify files on your device, or execute the displayed code.
  • Sample customers, opportunities, and records in the demonstrations are fictional. Their state changes occur within the page, not in a production customer or sales system.

Do not enter customer personal data, passwords, API keys, or confidential documents into the demonstrations. Your browser, device, extensions, or operating system may retain or process information according to their own settings and policies.

3. AI and translation services

The current browser demonstrations do not send your text to AI or translation APIs. Some of the underlying desktop products support external AI or translation services; those products operate in a separate environment and are not connected through these demonstrations.

For commissioned work, any proposed use of external AI services with personal or confidential client information is reviewed in advance. The relevant service, information, purpose, and required permissions or contractual terms must be agreed before such use.

4. Project enquiries and business records

We may receive information you choose to provide by email, including your name, business name, email address, project requirements, and information needed for a quotation, contract, or invoice.

We use this information to:

  • Respond to enquiries, clarify requirements, and prepare quotations.
  • Arrange contracts and carry out development, review, delivery, and agreed support.
  • Handle invoicing, payment confirmation, and transaction records.
  • Address misuse and meet applicable legal obligations.

We ask only for information needed for the relevant purpose. Where business documents are required, their scope and handling conditions are reviewed before sharing. Email links open your email application; clicking a link alone does not transmit your message to us or confirm receipt.

5. Access information and cookies

The current demonstration code does not install advertising tags, analytics tags, or tracking cookies, and does not use local storage to persist visitor activity.

To remember your display language, we may set a language-preference cookie (name: qtl_lang; value: ja or en-us; lifetime: 30 days), for example when you choose a language. It is not used to identify you, for advertising, or for tracking. You can delete or block it in your browser settings.

This website is delivered using services from Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages, CDN, and DNS). For delivery, performance, and abuse prevention, Cloudflare may process and record information such as IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, browser information, and the country associated with the connection. We use the connection country only to choose between the Japanese and English display languages for top-level pages. Cloudflare operates globally, so this information may be processed outside Japan.

If additional analytics or other data-processing features are introduced, their use will be reflected in this policy and any required notice or consent arrangements.

6. Sharing and service providers

We do not provide personal information to third parties without permission, except where permitted or required by applicable law. We may use service providers for email, hosting, or business administration to the extent needed for those services.

Where processing is outsourced, we review the provider and handling conditions and take appropriate steps to manage access and use. Any requirements concerning overseas processing are considered in light of the chosen service and applicable law.

7. Security and retention

We apply safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including managing access permissions and avoiding unnecessary sharing. Information is kept for as long as needed for its purpose and any applicable record-retention obligations, then deleted or anonymised when no longer required.

These measures reduce risk; they do not eliminate all risks associated with devices, communications, or service providers.

8. Access, correction, and deletion requests

You may contact us about access to, correction of, deletion of, or restrictions on the use of personal information we hold about you. We verify the requester’s identity as appropriate and respond in accordance with applicable law.

Some information, such as transaction records subject to retention requirements, may need to be retained even when deletion is requested. We will explain relevant limitations where applicable.

Contact address: contact@quantum-tech-lab.com.

Our mailbox is operational and has been tested for incoming email. Start by describing your request. Do not send identity documents or other sensitive information before we agree on any necessary verification method. Communication is by email only; we do not provide phone or video calls, in-person meetings, or site visits.

9. Requests to stop sales emails

If you receive a sales email from QUANTUM TECH LAB, you may request that further sales emails to that address stop by replying to the message or emailing contact@quantum-tech-lab.com. No phone call or meeting is required.

We use the request to stop further sales outreach and may retain the minimum information needed to record that preference. This does not prevent communications necessary for an existing contract, an enquiry you initiated, or legal obligations. It does not imply that this demonstration website sends sales emails automatically.

10. Scope and updates

This policy applies to the QUANTUM TECH LAB website and the Company’s development enquiries. Additional information-handling terms agreed in a project contract also apply to that project. External websites are governed by their own operators’ policies.

We update this page when the website, service providers, legal requirements, or operational practices change. Material changes are communicated through an appropriate notice, such as an update on this website.
